1. Introduction

Welcome to Horsework ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your participation in our events, use of our website, and any related services we provide. By accessing our website or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Event Participation & Registration

A. Eligibility

  • Participants must be 18 years or older to register. Minors may attend only with a legal guardian's consent and prior approval.

  • Riders must have their own horse, tack, and prior experience to participate in clinic sessions.

B. Registration & Payment

  • Registration is not guaranteed until confirmed by Horsework.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full by April 1, 2025. If payment is not received, your spot will be forfeited.

  • If Horsework cancels an event, refunds or credit towards future events may be provided.

C. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made 30 days or less before the event will forfeit full payment.

  • No-shows will not receive a refund.

3. Participant Responsibilities

A. Code of Conduct

  • To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience, all participants agree to:

  • Follow event facilitators' and trainers' instructions.

  • Treat horses, staff, and fellow participants with respect.

  • Refrain from any behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

  • Respect the privacy and experience of others—excessive phone use is discouraged.

B. Assumption of Risk

  • Horsework events involve physical activity and interactions with live animals.

  • Participants acknowledge that horses are unpredictable, and there are inherent risks associated with equine activities.

  • By attending, you assume full responsibility for your safety and well-being.

C. Liability Waiver

  • Horsework, its trainers, facilitators, and venue partners are not liable for any injuries, property damage, or losses incurred during the event.

  • Participants must sign a waiver before engaging in any activities.

4. Horse & Boarding Policies

  • Riders must provide proper care for their horse, including food and hydration.

  • Boarding is available for a $20 fee per horse.

  • Horsework reserves the right to deny participation to any horse deemed unfit for the program.

5. Media Release

  • By attending, you consent to photography and video recording during the event.

  • Horsework and its media team may use these materials for marketing, social media, and promotional content.

  • If you wish to opt out, you must notify us in writing before the event.

6. Website Use & Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Horsework website, including text, images, and branding, is owned by Horsework and may not be copied or used without permission.

  • Unauthorized use of website materials may result in legal action.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted with a revised "Effective Date." Continued participation in Horsework events or use of our website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
